Beef Burger

It’s hot, it’s raining. What to cook? I finally decided to make burgers for tonight with some coleslaw salad on the side.

Beef Burger

Ingredients: Beef Burger

600 g (about 21 oz) minced beef

large egg

onion – half, minced

1/2 cup bread crumbs

garlic – 1 clove, minced

tomato paste – 2 tablespoons

salt – 1 teaspoon

pepper – 1/2 teaspoon

Method:

  • Beat egg lightly
  • Mix all ingredients together including the egg.  Mix thoroughly using your hands.
  • Make into 6 portions & shape into balls
  • Lightly flatten to the shape of a burger patty
  • Cover with cling wrap & refrigerate till ready to cook. (I like to freeze them so it is easier to cook as well as keep as a stock in the freezer)
